Thanks Roberto. The volleyball was shot with no flash. I was using a 50mm f1.4, a very fast lens, with a Nikon D300, a camera that has low noise at high ISO settings.

All your pics are very good. I like your sports pics a lot. You have a good eye for action. I was wondering tho, for your volleyball pics were you using a flash?
